The
'Duplex' lamp

The Duplex lamp was
one of the most common oil lamps used in Britain and was
manufactured right up until the 1980's. Often these modern lamps
are sold as 'Victorian' or 'Antique, we have a selection of
lamps for sale pictured below.
All are exactly as described but to conform with current
regulations are offered for decoration only. All lamps are
unrestored, 'one only' and will be sold as pictured with new
wicks.

Brass founted lamp
complete with opal shade and oval chimney. The brass fount has
some tarnishing to the laquer but will polish up well. This lamp
is smaller than normal making a interesting model and probably dates from the
early 1960's. The
burner is marked 'Duplex made in England'.
